Bonide fruit tree spray active ingredients

This is not the first time I reviewed Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray. Actually, it was the last one too. You can read all the information about this post and follow the link to see what I had to say.

To give you a bit more of a background, Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray is a fast-acting, registered pesticide, which means that it is not only safe, but also environmentally friendly. This is not a new product for me as I tested it a few times during last year, when I had a lot of citrus trees.

In the Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray formula, two major ingredients are BiOpure-Citrus Orchard spray and Calsonitrus fungicide. Both of these ingredients, of course, are completely safe for both plants and people.

BiOpure-Citrus Orchard spray helps eliminate a lot of unwanted pests on fruits and their branches, such as mealybugs, scales, and aphids. In the same time, it helps you to achieve a full harvest and a healthy tree and fruit. The Citrus Orchard spray’s main purpose is to control pests, but also to make the tree fully fruit-bearing.

Calsonitrus fungicide is an insecticide which is considered to be a group A compound. A group A compound is only recommended for treating broadleaf trees, which means that it can be used for citrus, grapes, berries, apples, pears, and more. Although Citrus fungicide has a lower toxicity in comparison with some other insecticides, it is still a good and safe product to use for control of diseases, insects, and fungi.

In this post, I will try to summarize the main advantages of Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray. First of all, this is one of the few products that do not contain any of the following pesticides which are banned in some countries: azinphos-methyl, carbaryl, dicrotophos, diflubenzuron, dimethoate, etoxazole, fenamiphos, phenthoate, pirimicarb, terbufos, and triflumuron. Even in the USA, some of these pesticides are not allowed to be used.

Therefore, the first advantage is the fact that you don’t need to worry about them. Another big plus is that Citrus fungicide (the only group A compound) and Citrus Orchard spray are safe for use on the people, who are your close relatives and children. Third, the Citrus Orchard spray is totally safe for use by children too. Finally, Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray is safe to use on pets, but keep in mind that it is not recommended to spray it on the plants that are located near to the house.

Having a lot of disadvantages, Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray also has some good things to say about it. Disse er:

Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray was developed to provide the maximum protection against various diseases and pests of your citrus fruit trees. It should be used in 3-4 weeks period, depending on the tree’s size and the intensity of the outbreaks.

Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray is recommended to be used for the following types of trees:

Unprotected from white rot diseases like the mentioned Huanglongbing (HLB) and red blight (RB)

If your trees are protected by another type of fungicide which does not provide sufficient protection against HLB and RB, but you still have leaves showing signs of white rot symptoms, it is highly recommended to use Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray.

You can see very clearly from the list above that Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray was developed to provide the maximum protection against various diseases and pests of your citrus fruit trees. It should be used in 3-4 weeks period, depending on the tree’s size and the intensity of the outbreaks.

Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray will not harm plants in any way as long as it is used according to the instructions. However, if you are not using Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray exactly according to the recommended doses and timing, you will be able to observe some symptoms on your plants. Also, Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray can not be used to control pests which cause damages like aphids, codling moth, and brown spot of the citrus.

The recommended dose of Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray is as follows:

10 gallons of water per 1,000 gallons of water

Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray works very fast, so it is recommended to apply it before the occurrence of any diseases and pests. It is also advised to apply Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray before the start of the high season (from June to October). Finally, if your citrus fruit trees are located in the warm climate, you will have to spray them more often.

I would like to thank you for this opportunity to discuss Bonide Citrus Fruit Tree Spray. I believe that you will find this post very useful.
